In this class, learn to release deeply held patterns of tension and trauma with gentle, non-invasive techniques. Work to hone your communication skills, and fine-tune your massage practice by asking specific questions to discover and meet your client’s needs. Study ethics, responsibilities, and the conscious intentions of a bodyworker, and develop your intuitive awareness, observations, and listening skills. Learn to integrate Shiatsu techniques and other non-oil techniques into a Swedish style massage routine.

Christy Ceraso
Christy began studying bodywork at Harbin Hotsprings in 1991. She has explored many modalities including shiatsu, Body Harmony, Rebalancing, Swedish Massage, Hypnotherapy, Process Oriented Psychology, Rebirthing, Body-Mind centering, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Therapuetic Touch, Polarity, Reiki, Yoga, Holy Present Dance, and a wide array of spiritual teachings.
She has been on the staff of healers at Kalani for 9 years and licensed in Hawaii for 10 years. She is constantly incorporating new information into her work.
